Fun with papers and pixels

From a visual texture paper created for City and Guilds in about 1998, grabbed out of a box of papers this week and worked into up to today in three different ways -The story goes like this.... initially ripped paper shapes in card stock were glued to a ground and coated  irregularly with Polyfilla and water colour pigment  -Then left for nearly a decade... subsequently  worked over withwax crayon rubbing, Copic markers, water colour paint and Photoshop....
We get earth wind and fire.
Some would consider the lower image purer, it hasn't been 'photoshopped' is there such a verb as to Photoshop?... I guess there is now.

The colours of these pieces all work so well together.
